The Movie:
Chris Tucker is the funniest man in the world, in my understanding. It’s too terrible that the movies he acts in are always running to try and hopelessly glean up with him. One of the funniest things in cinema and some of the most scrumptious funny moments in the past few years have reach from watching Tucker’s performances. You can almost contemplate his mind working in overtime trying to consider up what to say next; and you never know what he’ll say next. The legend revolves around a Chinese Console member who’s daughter is kidnapped. Chan is brought in by the console member. Some of the funniest scenes in the movie are watching Tucker’s detective approach to the realization that all he’s called on to do is babysit Chan’s detective. Thankfully, this one isn’t too dreadful. A nice script, some very first-rate moments also from Chris Tucker when he’s allowed to unbiased improv his performance. It’s nothing original, but when it works, “Hurry Hour” is a whole lot of fun.
The DVD: Recount Quality: Unique Line has done a phenomenal job with the transfer of “Run Hour”. The colors of Los Angeles are incredibly knowing and objective pop on this disc. Search For at the reds in the Chinatown scenes or the colors of the neon at night. The color saturation is fabulous and there is no bleeding in the colors; the light from a neon mark looks perfectly provocative and obvious. Speaking of sharpness, the images themselves are perfectly obvious and inviting throughout the disc. There are a few instances where there is a cramped bright spot, but compared to a lot of the other discs I’ve seen lately, the colorful in this disc isn’t worth mentioning. Again, images are razor racy throughout, there aren’t any other problems at all with this disc. There are a lot more pros to talk about, though. Skin tones are 100% perfect. There is definitely no pixelization in the disc whatsoever, even in the low-light scenes or in the backgrounds. Gloomy level in the represent is astounding and dissimilarity is improbable. Shadow level is proper and overall, this is a nice continuation of the Recent Line tradition of replicating the theatrical experience at home. There’s occasionally a plight with otherwise gigantic discs such as intelligent or what not and it takes you out of the experience. There’s nothing on this disc that’s problematic enough to grasp the viewer out of the experience of the movie and that’s a brand of the very best DVDs. The 2.35:1 image is generous. Documentary: Again, it’s what I want to ogle in a documentary. The box calls it a “featurette”, but “A Part Of The Action: Leisurely The Scenes Of Speed Hour” is something I would reflect a tubby documentary. There’s a lot of fun going on in the interviews with the cast and crew, and it doesn’t seem like a usual studio promotional documentary. A lot of the camera work is hand-held and it honest seems like it was all done in fun and the fun that the cast and crew has carries over to the viewer. The documentary runs about 40 minutes and the last chapter is more in the draw of the hilarious outtakes that ended the film.
Deleted Scenes: A short reel of deleted scenes that at the most, are about 1 diminutive. Nothing earth-shaking, but gripping to perceive. The reel is a few minutes in length.
Short film: Director Brett Ratner’s very weird short film from when he was a student at NYU, “What Ever Happened To Mason Reese? “. The film starts off with an intro from the director and commentary from the director is also available. The film itself….well, it’s fair weird, but it’s nice to have on the disc.

This film focuses on an English family which struggles to cope with the Blitz during World War Two. The devastation of attacks on London is brilliantly juxtaposed with the idyllic countryside to which Grace Rohan (Sarah Miles) relocates with her children after her husband Clive (David Hayman) goes off to war. Powerful of the myth is based on director John Boorman’s possess childhood experiences at a time when there seemed so dinky reason for hope. “Glory” certainly describes the eventual Allied victory but also the courage of the English people meanwhile and certainly the affirmation of shared values which straggle so many families together amidst scare, separation, death, and destruction. Powerful of the film’s focus is on Grace’s father (Ian Bannen), a patriarch to be determined and (at times) something of an eccentric, but a loving and decent man nonetheless, struggling to cope with all manner of domestic crises while providing a obliging haven for daughters Grace, Faith, Hope, and Charity. He and grandson Billy (Sebastian Rice Edwards) forge a special bond in response to the pastoral “harem” in which they score themselves. This is a charming film but also one which also offers some sobering insights into how disruptive wartime conditions can be, especially to a sensible and sensitive boy such as Billy. His perspective is presumably Boorman’s (re-established years later) and done so with style and grace.
This is one of my top 20 all time celebrated movies. If you can imagine all the trials and tribulations, joys and sorrows and aches and exertion of childhood and then imagine going through WWII at the same time you have some notion of what this movie is about. Told primarily through the eyes of a young boy, this movie shows a very personal experience of what the Home Front was like for London civilians. Neighbors find bombed out, shrapnel lies in the streets, friends die, and life somehow mild goes on. The movie does a really noble job of showing how the war could be a source of wonder to a child living through it and a cathartic experience for the adults. At the same time it can be incredibly laughable and this is really why the film is so suited. Probably my well-liked scene is when the grandfather sends the young boy fishing with orders not to near help until he has caught some fish. A conclude second is the german problem scene. If you like period films, you’ll like this. If you unprejudiced like grand movies, not too serious or too laughable or too sunless, give this one a viewing. Also, the punting instructions given in the movie actually work. Soon after watching this film, I ended up in Oxford, England and was able to swear myself to punt in less than an hour fair from remembering this movie, so it’s also educational!
